Set in the gentle slopes and verdant countryside of the Dordogne, this charming cottage is a much-needed taste of French rural life. The pretty gardens, child-friendly pool, and open-plan interiors make this the ideal hideaway for a family holiday; and the small cottage (complete with kitchenette, living room and luxurious queen-sized bed) is perfect for couples seeking a little privacy away from the main group. Nearby rivers offer intrepid explorers the chance to kayak and canoe, while the wine buffs of your party will relish the opportunity to sample the local vineyards. Apart from the pool, our favourite part of the house is the kitchen; visit the village market to pick up the freshest ingredients and whip up a meal worthy of a Michelin star.
