We don’t believe in waking up early on holiday - give us a lie in and breakfast in bed any day. But we might just make an exception at The Ocean Fern. The sight of the sun rising over the glittering blue seas of the Italian coastline is something everyone should experience at least once, and it’s even better if you’re close enough to hear the gentle lapping of the waves on the pebble beach below you. This home couldn’t be closer to the sea, with an infinity pool directly overlooking the beach and staggering views from every window (not to mention the spacious terrace). Inside, pretty blue tiles, embroidered fabrics, and trailing plants create an open and welcoming space that’s perfect for both early birds and night owls.
