Feast on the season’s harvest at Demeter. Just four kilometres from this bucolic villa is the wine-producing region of Baltanás, famous for its traditional wineries. At request, the owners can arrange a gastronomic tour of the area to taste Ibérico ham and handcrafted Quesos Cerrato cheese. There’s a bounty of birdlife too, to be found around the many bicycle paths and walking trails in the area. After a day of indulgence, Romanesque interiors and splendid antique furniture await. Harvest vegetables from the garden and roast them in the well-appointed kitchen while sipping a glass of Baltana Negre.
