Set on 11 acres of luscious parkland, you may be surprised to learn that the river beach at Castelmoron is only five minutes away from this turreted, quintessentially French castle. You're also only a short walk away from the nearby village, Le Temple, which has all the essentials you need; a restaurant, bar, shop and, most importantly, boulangerie. The home itself has been newly renovated and is light, open and elegant, toeing the line perfectly between grandeur and friendliness. We loved the salt-water pool, boules court and converted Sechoir, historically where inhabitants would dry their clothes, now an outdoor dining and living space, and the converted barn makes for the perfect modern games room.
