Just want some peace? Dovecote, on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot et Garonne regions, has what you need. With two hectares of private land including a secluded pool and magnificent pigeonnier (dovecote), there’s no real need to leave. That would be a shame, however, as gorgeous vineyards, world-class golf and delightful markets are right on your doorstep. The lovely medieval villages of Eymet and Duras are a few minutes’ drive away, and the larger towns of Bergerac and Bordeaux are reachable within two hours. After a day of indulging in local treats, challenge the family to a game of boules on the lawn, or feast under the stars at the poolside dining table.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
