The word that springs to mind in the gardens of this beautiful home near Cuers is idyllic. Surrounded by lavender and thyme, with a perfect pool and views across the vineyards, it's the very essence of Provence. The home itself is classically beautiful, with accommodation over three floors and balconies to some of the bedrooms. The interiors are traditional, with plenty of country elegance, and the rooms are spacious and bright. We particularly love the fireplace in the living room and the big antique dining table. Outside, you can swim in the heated pool or lounge in the hot tub, or play some table tennis or boules. There's a gym too, if you're feeling energetic, and a special treat in the form of a hammam. But in the evenings, this place is all about the dining terrace, where you can barbecue and stay out under the stars until retiring for the night to comfortable bedrooms. Set among the vines of a prestigious vineyard, this place is just a five-minute drive from the village. Full of good restaurants, cafes and shops, it's known for its top-quality wine and its Friday morning markets.
