Take the Helm really captures the Mediterranean vibe we’re looking for when booking a holiday; the stone walls and tiled terrace add a rustic feel to this otherwise very contemporary home. Located on the island of Hvar, this home is an ideal launchpad to explore the mountainous forests, pebbled beaches, and smooth waters of coastal Croatia. Or perhaps you’re just here to chill out, in which case the private pool and loungers welcome you to spend the day going from quick dips to cat naps in the sun. Take a trip down the the main town to pick up ingredients for a traditional Croatian dinner made on the barbecue and eaten around the long outdoor table — late nights, good company, and beautiful settings are what a holiday is all about, after all.
