This peaceful converted stable in the heart of the Suffolk Countryside is the perfect romantic bolthole for two. Down a quiet country lane, with mesmerising views across the water meadows and a beautifully planted garden, it’s the kind of place where you can leave the bustle of daily life behind and slow down a little. The home is tastefully decorated in a modern country style, with an open-plan living space and lots of natural light, and there’s a terrace outside with seating for al fresco dining during the summer months. You’re within striking distance of the coast, including well-heeled Aldeburgh (20 mins drive), for blustery walks by the sea. If you want to keep it local, Ufford has a picture-perfect Medieval church and two fine pubs and there are lots of picturesque footpaths direct from the stable for lazy walks through the countryside.
