Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Located in Gloucester Road, within easy reach of the attractions of South Kensington, this two-bedroom apartment has interiors that embody timeless elegance. Your host’s attention to detail is admirable - from the perfectly pleated curtains to the objects that decorate the space. The small but well-presented courtyard and large French windows that lead to it provide the home with a fair amount of natural light, despite it being on a lower ground floor; but best of all - access to the beautifully landscaped communal gardens is the ultimate perk.

Home truths

This is a period property and like many of London's historic buildings, there's a slight damp issue that surfaces around some of the fixtures - your host makes sure to repaint frequently but some guests might be sensitive to this.

It's a lower ground floor apartment so don't be expecting expansive views across London's skyline.

Your host kindly asks you remove your shoes before entering the carpeted bedrooms.

You won't find a manual or handbook for this home, but your host should be on hand if you have any issues.

We think some areas of this home could do with a refresh. In particular, the bathroom looks a little tired.

About South Kensington

South Kensington is probably most famous for being home to some of London’s top museums (The Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and Science Museum) and so you don’t need to wander far to see some of the city’s greatest treasures. World-class Hyde Park is just a stone’s throw away and there are plenty of great bars and cafes on the delightful pedestrianised end of Exhibition Road, packed full...
