Speaking of which, you’ll find a tranquil pond mere metres from your doorstep, where newts dip in and out of the water and dragonflies flit across the surface. Walking and cycling routes are also within reaching distance; end excursions with a pint at the pub, a short fifteen-minute stroll away. Jump in the car for a ten-minute drive to the historic sites of Orford, while a fifteen-minute trip places you at Aldeburgh’s seaside.
