Set into a lush hillside in Bath with a stunning garden and lavish outdoor decks, we can begin to see how this location received a 5 star gold by the Tourist Board. The living spaces are exemplary- we loved the high spec, fully stocked kitchen, the endless entertainment options that include both books and Netflix, and all the rooms opening up to lush green expanses. At a fifteen minute walk from the Widcombe Parade, you have access to restaurants for varying palates, pubs, cafes and other amenities. While the historic sites, museums and shopping in Bath will keep you rather busy in the day, you can end your day with a therapeutic session at the Thermae Spa or a show at The Theatre Royal.

The two single beds in the second bedroom can zip together to become a super king, if necessary
Two extra guests can fit in but they will get the trundle bed downstairs
The host does not take kindly to hen and stag parties on this very residential property although quiet dinner parties are perfectly fine
Many of the amenities are downstairs and accessible only by a staircase
Due to the architectural details and lack of stair gates, the host is hesitant to having very young children in the space
