Set back from the village of Asolo yet still only a few minutes' walk from its centre, La Cappella is a characterful historical building dating back to the seventeenth century. It's set on extensive grounds that are beautifully presented and carefully maintained by the villa's staff, with manicured lawns for children to play on and charming flowerbeds bordered by cypress and olive trees. There's an outdoor heated pool that's ideal for swimming some laps or to sit by and soak up the sunshine. What's really unique to this home is that it comes with your own private chapel – perfect for a calm moment of meditation. The less spiritual will find the home's many reception rooms just as soothing, with sophisticated classic decor and open fireplaces to warm up by in the cooler months. While there's staff and a wide range of additional services on offer, you can make use of the well-equipped country-style kitchen to cook up a feast. Once dinner's ready, the whole group can convene in the grand dining room to share dishes and holiday tales.
