Step inside and you'll find an open, light-filled living space that's overflowing with colourful touches. Leafy potted plants, bold yellow throw pillows and velvet chairs delightfully contrast the traditional exterior. We think it's perfect for families to spread out and make themselves at home, especially with a DVD player, board games and cosy sofas on offer. But the best part is by far the garden. It's just what you'll want on holiday – imagine splashing in the pool on sunny afternoons, grilling up seafood and veggie skewers in the evenings and playing foosball well into the night. We could easily spend all day lounging on the terrace and sipping cocktails on the balcony, but if you crave a change of scenery, head into town for an abundance of activities, delicious restaurants and local shops. Vilamoura has five championship golf courses and fifty tennis courts to keep you busy. Add in the parasailing, snorkelling, dolphin watching and hiking and we doubt you'll be bored here. For a slower pace, book yoga lessons or spread out on the sandy Praia da Falésia, a ten-minute drive away. But if you fancy a night on the town, arrange for a babysitter and dance the night away at one of the area's buzzing clubs.
