Overlooking Mevagissey Harbour, this listed fisherman's cottage is brimming with traditional coastal character. There's plenty of charm to go around, from the anchor adorned stable door in the kitchen to the snug rooms with sloped ceilings, exposed brick walls and wooden beams. From the original sash windows, you can glimpse the boats bobbing in the harbour and, in the distance, the sparkling sea. On rainy days, challenge the family to a board game, snuggle up for a film in the cosy living area or plop down on the squishy bean bag with an engrossing read. When the sun is out, make the most of this excellent location and hit the sand – Pentewan Beach is a quick seven-minute drive. If you'd prefer to stay local, go for a stroll along the harbour, stopping for a bite to eat at the number of cafes, pubs and restaurants or browse Mevagissey's collection of shops and boutiques, all just a short walk away. Whether you're in the mood for crabbing, kayaking or chilling at home, this lovely cottage knows how to reel you in.
