There's no question that being able to walk over the street and be in Hyde Park within 5 minutes is wonderful. Whilst the building may not have the most welcoming architecture (1930's) with a communal hallway showing wear and tear, we were pleasantly surprised by the interiors of the apartment. The space has been fully renovated to modern standards. The master bedroom is en-suite with a rainfall shower and marble effect finish. Overall, the flat would suit a small family, perhaps, who would appreciate the proximity to the park while having Notting Hill close by too.
