Comfortable and cosy, this fisherman’s cottage is located in the seaside town of Whitby. Featuring four stylish bedrooms, this dog-friendly bolthole is perfect for a family reunion or trip with friends to North Yorkshire. The decor is minimal and elegant, with characterful touches such as wood finishings, mosaics and floral wallpaper – and you won’t forget about the sea easily, with sailboat-themed art adorning the walls. West Cliff Beach, with its colourful beach huts, is only five minutes away, where you can wander along the promenade or even dip your toes in the surf. You'll also love exploring the charming cobbled streets, antique shops and world-famous Whitby Abbey, known for inspiring Bram Stoker's Dracula. Pick up some locally caught seafood on the way home, and head back to the spacious country-style kitchen, which provides ample room to cook up a maritime feast. Then it's time to open some wine and sink into the comfy sofas in the sitting room to rest and recuperate before your next adventure.
