Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This coastal home in North Yorkshire is the perfect place to base your stay in the region. The quaint open-plan kitchen-diner has been built in the eaves, giving it an old world charm – just be careful if you're tall. Rich cobalt-coloured sofas, a black marble table and an exposed-brick wall add plenty of charm, but don't compromise on comfort. From the kitchen window, you can look out over the sea towards Whitby Abbey, made famous by Bram Stoker's Dracula. You’ll also be right in the heart of the action amongst Flowergate’s excellent antique shops and vintage boutiques, and Whitby's famous beach is less than a kilometre away. Make sure you don't leave without trying some freshly caught seafood – head to one of the waterfront restaurants for a bite to eat, or cook your favourite fish dish to enjoy at home.

About Whitby

When the sun sets, ghost tours amble through the cobbled streets, revealing the town’s dramatic history. By day it’s all idyllic fishing village vibes, with a hint of Victorian holidays.
