If you seek seclusion and immersion in nature, Silver Vane offers just that with the added benefit of being easily accessible from the M6, avoiding all those narrow country lanes. The interiors speak for themselves, with elegant furnishings and bedrooms to our very high standards – expect plump bedding and soft linens. You'll need a good night's sleep to make the most of the scenic country walks that start from a path directly outside your home. A short drive will take you to quaint villages which are worth a visit, such as Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale, if only to regain some energy between walks in the village pub. If the group's feeling adventurous, there are many other popular trails to explore in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Coming back home after a long day out and relaxing in the cosy lounge with striking Howgill Fells views and the warming fireplace is the one experience that we look forward to the most.
