Full of Cornish charm, this cottage is part of a barn complex that dates back as far as the 1600s. Inside, you’ll find spacious rooms with a wood-burning stove for relaxed evenings in, delightful beamed ceilings, and a private terrace that's perfect for catching the afternoon sun. You’ll also have access to the vast grounds – four whole acres to be precise – where you can stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens surrounded by fields and woods. On lazy afternoons we recommend preparing a picnic to enjoy by the nearby lake, or firing up the barbecue for an alfresco meal surrounded by greenery. There's also a public footpath right on your doorstep, which will lead you through the gorgeous rolling countryside – and since this home is dog-friendly, two pups can come along too. Make sure you find time to visit the Eden Project, just a twenty-five-minute car ride away, and explore some of the famous Cornish fishing villages – both the north and south coasts are within a twenty-minute drive.
