This barn conversion, built from traditional Cotswold stone, is the perfect countryside retreat for a larger family or group of friends. With an impressive vaulted living area at the heart of the home, and an expansive garden with several seating options, this home is all about catching up with your loved ones. Kids will love running wild in the lawned garden and playground while adults converse over a drink and fire up the barbecue for an alfresco meal. The wood-burning stove will make the indoors feel lovely and toasty in winter, and the group can get competitive with one of the board games provided. The hamlet of Elkstone is just a five-minute drive away – first mentioned in the Domesday Book, it's one of the highest settlements in the Cotswolds, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. This is the ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds’ charming towns and villages – and don't forget to stop into some of the local pubs as you go.
