The more adventurous among you can take out the villa’s kayak, or you can simply enjoy a picnic on the grass with serene views. This two-bedroom whitewashed villa charms with its classical style. The living room is traditional yet stylish, with a large open hearth and billiards table. The bedrooms are furnished with ornate antique pieces and we particularly love the decorative stone bath. A separate kitchen and dining area are perfect for those evenings in, but if you are wanting someone else to cook for you, make for the restaurants at the lake’s most beautiful town, Stresa, just 11km away.
