Situated within a thirteenth-century country mansion in the tranquil surroundings of the Northumberland countryside, Fortalice Wing is the perfect home away from home for a group of up to ten guests in search of a truly relaxing break. Since the grounds are set at the end of a one-kilometre drive away, guests benefit from great privacy and uninterrupted views while staying here. Roam around the beautifully kept gardens where you can find your own romantic spot for a picnic or space to sit down and read. The whole group can convene in the private courtyard for a drink or fire up the barbecue for a cooking session under the stars. After a day of nature immersion, imagine coming back to the classically inspired living room with high ceilings and plump sofas, to relax by the warmth of the cosy log burner. As all five bedrooms are equally sumptuous and each comes with its own en-suite, everyone's guaranteed their little piece of privacy in this historic home.

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
