With a pool, courtyard, and original features, La Frida manages to harness the historic charm of the Coachella Valley while keeping all of the amenities modern to ensure practicality. Custom artwork dotted around the home is dedicated to Freida Khalo herself, while one-of-a-kind mirrors and hand-painted ceramic sinks in of the master bathroom embrace the Latina vibe carried through the home. The Saltillo floors and Mexican glassware give it the feeling of a private hacienda in the heart of the California desert. Cool off in the quirky "L" shaped pool with a margarita in hand while the barbecue fires up ready for a Mexican feast. Tucked away in the La Quinta Cove (the surrounding mountains are great for hiking), but downtown is also within walking distance, so it’s very convenient should you want to nip out for a spot of shopping or a bite to eat.
