A block away from the beach, this little casita is perfect if you’re after something simple, cosy, and right next to the water. The location speaks for itself, but everything about the home complements its position well. There’s a little patio with sun loungers, a deck with a rocking chair, and a grill, but the thing that really sealed the deal for us was the fairy-lit gazebo. Just the thought of returning to a place like that after a long day of surfing fills us with warmth. It’s also worth pointing out that it’s only a short distance to the centre of Carlsbad, in case you ever tire of the sand and sea.
