A contemporary home in the quaint town of Fairford, this lovely townhouse is perfect for those who want to explore the Cotswolds and all this picturesque part of the country has to offer. Just a short drive from beautiful Cirencester and Burford, your stay here is a perfect balance of town to country living. The duplex apartment is in a handsome building (once the town’s bank) which was recently remodelled to boast all-modern amenities and a charming mix of old and new. Steel windows and stone mullions are a nod to the building’s past while the full kitchen is a contemporary dove grey. There’s something a bit boho about the living room with its velvet sofas, modern art and driftwood lamps. We were delighted by the charming garden with dining for four under the wooden pergola and fragrant lavender in precision flowerbeds. Step outside and enjoy a stroll through the market square, where you’ll find cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants. For those who want to spend a few relaxing days in the countryside without having to give up on urban amenities, this is an excellent choice.
