The Mendip Hills is one of only forty-six regions with the title of 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. And with a title like that, you can be quite sure the landscapes will be spectacular. Within the region, just four miles from Cheddar Gorge, and a twenty-five-minute drive to the coastal plains of Somerset Levels, this modern eco-cottage is simply immersed in natural beauty. Its wooden exterior blends in nicely with the woodlands and trails nearby, but there are a few features which are somewhat out of the ordinary for a rural escape. First off, the hot tub. Sitting atop your vast decking, alongside a barbecue, outdoor lounge, and shady alfresco dining table, this is the perfect place to de-stress in nature. After this jaw-dropping welcome to the home, swap the tub bubbles for a glass of champagne and take a look around the home. Understated yet stylish, we love the greys, greens, and blues in this sophisticated, natural colour palette. Thanks to huge, panoramic windows in the lounge, you can admire daily sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of the sofa if the weather doesn't hold up.
