Welcoming up to twelve guests, Colours of the Lake is the perfect home for a large family gathering just outside of Donner Lake. Whether you decide to visit in the summer or the winter, this area has plenty to offer to make it magical all year long. The open-plan living area is the home’s main social hub, perfect for chit-chatting while someone prepares dinner, heated debates around the large dining table, or family games in front of the roaring fire. Then step outside and admire the wonderful views from the back deck. From here, you can also spot the sixteenth-hole of the Tahoe Donner Golf Course, which is surely worth a visit if you enjoy the game of golf. Spend your days swimming in any of the area’s magical lakes, enjoy exclusive skiing in colder months or just hang back at the home and relax with a great book and even better company. However you choose to spend your time here, you’ll be glad to soak your tired muscles in the outdoor hot tub at the end of a long day.

About Truckee
