Just outside the centre of Whitby, this cottage is decked out for a seaside break. It’s a two-minute to the train station, where you can catch the vintage steam train across the Yorkshire Moors. The bars, pubs and fish and chip restaurants of the harbour are five minutes from your doorstep and it’s a ten-minute walk to the haunting ruins of Whitby Abbey. Soft leather sofas await in the living room after a day of exploring and the decor is decidedly beachy.
