With its gentle, yet bright colour scheme and all-modern appliances, Marlene in Palms is a charming home for up to three guests. It is worth noting, however, that, if filled to capacity, one guest will have to sleep on the sofa bed. This setup means it’s best suited for a solo traveller, a cosy couple or a small family with a young child. Located around Loreto metro station, this area is well-connected to the rest of the city and famous for its bargain shopping on Corso Buenos Aires. Mainly a residential area, this isn’t the most exciting part of Milan but it’s close enough to the action in the centre of town that you can easily experience the hustle and bustle, then return home for a more relaxed lifestyle outside of central Milan.
