Looking for peace and seclusion on your trip to Palm Springs? Look no further than this midcentury home in the historic Racquet Club Estates neighbourhood. Designed by William Krisel, architect to the stars, in 1961, this four-bedroom home is less than a mile away from the restaurants, cafes and galleries of Palm Canyon Drive. Comprising a main house and a secluded private casita, this quintessential Palm Springs pad is ideal for family holidays or reunions with friends. Though we love the light-drenched open-plan living space – enhanced by walls of glass that blur the lines between indoors and outdoors – we think you’ll want to spend most of your time outside. Move from enjoying a refreshing dip in your private pool to relaxing on an elegant sun lounger with views of mountains and towering palm trees, before heading to the covered living pavilion to relax with a drink or enjoy a siesta in the napping teepee. Once you’ve cooked up a storm in the state-of-the-art kitchen or on the barbecue grill, finish the evening gathered around the fire pit.
