Minutes from Amagansett village but miles from all the noise, this modern villa is an escape to the untamed coast. It’s a seven-minute drive to the quiet heart Amagansett and ten minutes to the quaint shops and restaurants of East Hampton town. The beach is just a short stroll away. On the first floor, a huge deck area has a dining table and gas grill for summer barbecues, and a fire pit encased by a sprawling sofa. Out the back, a sleek swimming pool is secluded by trees and lined with lavender bushes. There’s a sunken hot tub on the modern deck and sun loungers to soak up some rays. A cute vegetable patch provides a natural pantry. Heading inside, the open-plan kitchen, living and dining room is bathed in natural light from picture frame windows. A fireplace taking up most of the wall is sure to keep the evening chill at bay. Up the stylish, industrial staircase, the master bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the state park. Each of the other three bedrooms have glass doors leading to a slice of outdoor space so everyone gets a bit of privacy.
