5.0

Set in lush, quiet gardens, this purpose-built guest cottage is a secluded slice of peace four miles from historic Charleston centre. It’s just across the river from Johns Island and James Island, where you can tour magnificent old plantation houses and explore the waterways by boat. Returning to your self-contained haven, relax in the private garden by the koi pond to the sound of the trickling waterfall. Rustle up a feast in the marble-topped kitchen, which has everything you need for a self-catered stay. The stylish seating area is brought to life with modern art on the walls and royal blue armchairs. The bedroom is like an elevated twin room, with two queen beds suiting a couple, or two close friends, each getting their own big bed to sprawl out on.
