Every home has a story, and this peaceful hillside barn dates back over two hundred years. Original features like the solid wooden A-frame have been carefully preserved, with practical changes made to the design to facilitate modern living. The home sits on on the outskirts of Coed-y-Brenin forest, renowned for its cycling tracks and luscious woodlands – so it’s the perfect escape for lovers of nature and adventure. With gorgeous walking trails, a waterfall, nature reserve, mountains and lakes at your doorstep, there’s plenty to explore even if cycling is not for you. In the evenings, sit out on your patio with a glass of wine and look over the open grounds, where ducks, sheep and pigs roam. Between cosy dinners, film sessions and competitive games evenings, there’s plenty to look forward to after a day of adventure.
