This pretty little cottage is perfectly placed on the Llyn Peninsula, with farmland and rugged walks on its doorstep. It's just a five-minute drive to the sandy beach of Porth Neigwl, and equidistant to the National Trust property of Plas yn Rhiw. The cottage has character and charm, with an open living space ideal for intimate dinners together. On colder days, fire up the log burner on the raised hearth for a seriously country atmosphere. Head upstairs to collapse on the bed after a long day's hike, and bask in the stunning exposed stone. Lovers of the great outdoors will be pleased to hear of the separate courtyard with patio furniture, a barbecue, and sun loungers. This home is south-facing, so it's the perfect spot for soaking up the sun on fine days in privacy. The skies around here are known as some of the clearest in the country, so you can sit out and stargaze as you plan the next day's adventures. With several sandy beaches within a 10-mile drive, you'll be spoilt for choice on this trip.
