This charming cottage is in an idyllic location for a quiet break, set near the picturesque coastal village of Ravenscar. Wake up to remarkable sea views across the Heritage Coast with nothing but the sound of the seabirds and the crashing waves to interrupt your peace. A traditional stone cottage, with all the character features you could hope for, it's been smartly modernised with a lovely new kitchen and bathroom. With an unusual layout thanks to its sloping plot, it's a quirky and cute place to explore. Snuggle up on the pretty sofas in front of the log burner, eat your meals at the table in the kitchen or just admire the views from the bedroom windows. We love the clever little window seat in the master bedroom. Best of all, its terraced gardens go up and up to offer ever-improving sea views so you can find just the right spot to sip your cup of tea. You'll find the pretty fishing villages of Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes just a short drive away, or opt to travel a little further afield to explore the historic town of Whitby.
