This traditional stone cottage dates back to 1775 and is tucked away in Fremington, a serene hamlet in the Yorkshire Dales. With plenty of period charm, it's perfect for a small family or a pair of couples – and, your furry friends can even come along too. Whip up a homemade feast in the country kitchen, before you get toasty by the wood burner with your loved ones for a blissful night in. In the warmer months, you can enjoy an evening tipple outside on the patio, as you plan the day to come. And, the beds are fitted with delightful quilts, patterned linens, and quirky throw cushions for a cosy night's sleep. Cycling fans will be happy to find that there's bike storage at the house, and fabulous nearby landscapes that you can explore on two wheels. The River Swale is just ten minutes away from the cottage, and hikers can wander through the meadows, bright with wildflowers, in the surrounding area. And, if you fancy a day trip, you can drive to the Victorian spa town of Harrogate in just over an hour.
