Set on the far west of the Llyn Peninsula, this home is a rural retreat that doesn't sacrifice any creature comforts. With a large, enclosed garden, it's ideal for families with pets - up to two furry friends are welcome to join you. Standing along the coastal path just twenty metres from the home, looking out across the peninsula towards Snowdonia, you could feel a million miles from anywhere here, but you're not as remote as you may think. Jump in the car and follow the quiet country lane towards the charming fishing village of Aberdaron. In just five minutes, you'll find two excellent pubs for hearty grub and a swift pint, a wide sandy beach, bustling cafes and restaurants, and a bakery for daily fresh bread. It's also the place to catch a boat to Bardsey Island, an ancient pilgrimage site. After a long day exploring, put your feet up in front of the wood-burning stove as the kids crash out with the Nintendo Wii. Or, on warmer evenings, pour a drink and catch the last of the sun on the patio; it's a real suntrap before firing up the barbecue for grilling the catch of the day.
