This beautifully converted barn and traditional Kent farmhouse is set within the grounds of the lush green Pound Hill Farm. Wake up to calming countryside views to the east and west from your bedroom window and enjoy the rural outlook from the traditional open-plan living space. If doing nothing is on the agenda, this home is perfectly equipped for relaxed days on the sofa cuddled up by the wood burning stove, or if you’re up for some light activity, the farmland itself has a carp pond that you’re welcome to fish at as well as picturesque fields to stroll through as you pass by the friendly furry locals. Just beyond the fence are acres of unspoilt countryside that make for gloriously peaceful walks in all seasons, and the small village of Frittenden is also walking distance away. Pop into the popular local pub for a pint or a comforting lunch before venturing down the road to the historic Sissinghurst Castle Garden, a pleasant two-mile walk from the farm, or pick up some fresh finds from the local shop and enjoy a home-cooked meal on your terrace as you watch the sun set over the fields.
