Cocoon yourself under ancient beams and sloping ceilings in this beautifully converted 17th-century barn. Furnished in hues of oatmeal and honey, with glass doors opening onto a private patio and lawn, it’s a soothing place to come home to. The spacious communal area and kitchen make for a fantastic space to socialise with friends and family while cooking up a delicious meal. Why not use the iPod docking station as you stir the pasta? Stepping outside, the outdoor patio area is great to enjoy a light brunch with some wine while bathing in the sunlight. Walk the heritage grounds of Sissinghurst and Leeds Castle, or take a forty–minute drive for a day trip to pebbly Hythe beach. It’s wine country too, with nearby vineyards and The Bell pub, only a four–minute drive away. Restorative, peaceful, and rich in history, it's the sort of stay that’s good for the soul.
