Traditional English country cottages are not noted for their spaciousness but that impression is shattered as soon as you step into Thatched Beauty. The original 17th century building has been extended with great style and sensitivity to heritage features including the brick fire place with log burner, beautiful wooden mantel piece and ceiling beams. There has been no compromise on modern comforts. Stride from the bespoke, open-plan kitchen and comfortable, sociable lounge through bi-fold doors into the landscaped garden. Enjoy the variety of plantings and mature shady trees as well as al fresco dining under a pergola. Kids will love the swings, slides and climbing frame as well as a games room with table tennis and a quirky BBQ hut. Two of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the garden. Located just off the A31, Thatched Beauty is less than 2 miles from the historic market town of Wimborne Minster, and within easy reach of many of Dorset's top sights including the stately home Kingston Lacy.

About Dorset
If you want to immerse yourself in the England of yesteryear, a trip to the county of Dorset is a good place to start.
