Just a few metres from the beach at Instow, it won’t take you long to feel right at home in this seaside villa. Folding doors lead you out onto the impressive terrace, where you can while away the hours watching the boats bobbing in the estuary. It takes just a few minutes to meander down to the pubs and restaurants of Instow, and you can catch a ferry across the water to visit neighbouring Appledore during the high season. If you’d like a little more action, the nearby Tarka Trail offers fantastic cycling and walking, and the surf at Westward Ho! is fantastic for water sports. Bring your bikes and boards along, too, as there’s lockable storage for your bits and bobs here too.
