Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This is the perfect spot for sailors, and we’re not talking about the ancient mariner kind. No, this luxury four-bedroom cottage is highly sought after by the marina set, thanks to its location on the River Dart, well known for its yachting culture. Located in the village of Kingswear, just across the waters from Dartmouth, this smart stay provides fantastic river views from almost every room. In August guests can even catch sight of the Royal Regatta, hosted by the Royal Dart Yacht Club each year. Luckily, there's also plenty to do nearby, even if you're not into sailing. In Kingswear itself, there’s a shop, pubs and a station for catching the picturesque steam train into Paignton for its family-friendly beaches and other seaside attractions. Hop on the ferry (by foot or car) and cross the river for Dartmouth’s delights, including castles, coastal walks and great seafood restaurants. Or you could let your inner sailor shine with a catamaran or paddle-boarding lesson.
