Take in the incredible views over the sea and the town of Ilfracombe from this lovely apartment, housed in an imposing landmark period building modelled on a French Chateau. Its wonderfully sunny, south-facing private balcony is the perfect spot to admire the vistas with a glass of Devonshire wine or a cream tea – it's our favourite feature here. Inside, take a seat on the comfy sofa – it has fabulous views too. It's just a three-minute stroll to Tunnels Beach, and Wildersmouth Beach is a six-minute walk. Set close to the centre of town (eleven minutes on foot), you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and pubs. For days out close to home, visit the aquarium, the local museum or the striking Landmark Theatre visible from the apartment. Go fishing, take a boat trip from the harbour, or just grab your best walking shoes and head off for a hike across scenic coastal footpaths.
