To get a little closer to the elements, slide open the glass doors and step out onto a sheltered balcony, providing a peaceful perch from which to enjoy a barista-style coffee from the bean to cup coffee machine. Then, when the beach beckons, pack a picnic in the hamper provided, and with a hop and a skip, you’re on the sand. Learn to surf with the friendly instructors at North Devon Surf School, an eight-minute walk from the apartment, or simply sit back and watch the Atlantic breakers roll into the wide bay. The village bakeries, bars and gastropubs are all under ten minutes away on foot and don’t miss the Sunday roast at The Pig on the Beach just next door.
