Cornwall’s holidaymakers tend to focus solely on the beaches, but there’s plenty more to explore in this stunning part of the country. Issey’s Blue, nestled in the tiny hamlet of Tregonce is the perfect place to discover Cornwall’s unspoiled countryside -- several popular walking and biking trails pass close to this rural home, meaning there’s no excuse not to get out and stretch your legs in the coastal sunshine. And those who don’t consider a getaway a real holiday without a glimpse of the sea, you can see the golden sands of the Camel Estuary from the upstairs window. Drive ten minutes into the nearing harbour town of Padstow for fish and chips, or simply relax in front of the stove in the spacious living room.

The town has a communal feel in the warmer months, as restaurant and café tables spill out onto the harbour walls. It’s a fantastic choice for a trip to the English seaside, with working fishing boats still heading...
