Dating back to the 1800s, this Grade II listed farmhouse sits elegantly on the outskirts of Porthcothan and offers a true slice of luxury in a wholly tranquil setting. From its hand-painted stained glass window shining down over the grand stairway to the antique stone fireplace and detailed plasterwork, this home has a stately grandeur to it, all while being wonderfully warm and welcoming. Gather together for breakfast in the green farmhouse kitchen or sun yourself in the enclosed garden while enjoying your first sips of coffee. Sleep comes easy in the sophisticated bedrooms with their beautiful country views, while the living room beckons cosy evenings by the fire, a glass of wine in hand. While you could spend all day in your plush home, go out and explore your stunning surroundings. Walk to Porthcothan Beach (eighteen minutes away) or stroll along the quieter and more scenic route, taking the permissive path across the farmland that links up with the South West Coastal Path. Another stunning patch of sand can be found at Treyarnon Bay (a twenty-five-minute walk or a five-minute drive) while charming Padstow is just under fifteen minutes away by car.
