The arched window in the living room is a little reminder that this granite cottage used to be a Methodist chapel. Set in the tiny hamlet of Rinsey, you’re surrounded by countryside on all sides, and you can join the South West Coast Path steps from your front door. Following the walking path along the coast, past old tin mines, for twenty minutes will take you to the sweeping beach at Praa Sands. Rinsey Cove, a secluded tidal beach, is a short stroll away. Elsewhere, you're just a ten-minute drive to the shops and galleries of Porthleven, where you can buy fresh seafood to cook in the fully-equipped country kitchen – best served outdoors in the private south-facing garden, which gets sunlight long into the summer nights. At the end of a busy day, slip off in the super-king sized bed and wake up each morning to sea views over the North Atlantic, with nothing between you and North America.
