Arriving at Slates By The Shore, you might not be expecting the good-looking cottage that awaits behind the front door. You'll be struck by its swanky style, a mix of authentic stone walls and flooring with the centrepiece of a modern spiral staircase. Put your feet to good use and explore the town of Padstow and, venturing further, take to the Camel Trail, an eighteen-mile hiking (or cycling) trail that takes you through glorious coastal scenery. Back in Padstow, speedboat rides, cobbled souvenir shops, and a good old serving of fish and chips await.
