Just an easy stroll away from the River Fowey, this coveted cottage is in the heart of Lostwithiel. Warm and inviting, the home sets the tone for a pleasant family holiday in the wooded valleys of Cornwall. Known as the antique capital of Cornwall, the town is vibrant and particularly appealing for those with a knack for history. After a day of wandering around the town, walk over to one of two nearby parks or the local nature reserve. You can also enjoy nature strolls and stop for a picnic along the river bank – this cosy corner of Cornwall is made for sauntering around in the sunshine. If you're up for exploring further than the village, Fowey is just fifteen minutes away. The quaint town has a harbour where you can rent a boat for a couple of hours and cruise along the water. It's the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. However, you spend your Cornish adventure, return home and warm up around the fire while you reminisce about the day’s treasures.
