Quaint and full of personality, this family-friendly Cornish cottage is located just moments away from the water's edge. It's truly a one-of-a-kind place, where lovers of literature and the seaside can feel right at home – it has to be seen to be believed. The cottage has gorgeous sea views and lavish blue velvet sofas where you can sink in and relax between your adventures. Keen readers can peruse the range of novels and non-fiction titles in the impressive library, then get stuck into their book of choice outside in the sunny courtyard. When it comes to cooking, the charming green Aga is perfect for cooking up your favourite dishes to share before you retire to the drawing room – there's even a baby grand piano that budding musicians can play. Mousehole's picture-perfect harbour is only a five-minute walk away, where kids can play on the sand as you watch the boats bobbing in the water. Adventurous types can head out to explore the rugged coastline – there's space to store your surfboards and bikes at the house.
